Many researchers had been tried to make short coating process using pre-sealed or pre-primed coating systems. We had been studied polyester/melamine coatings using curing agents which were amino resin types such as highly methylated melamine (HMMM). We had been synthesized linear types of polyester resins using linear types of materials such as isophthalic acid (IPA), adipic acid (AA), using 1,4Cyclohexanedimethanol (CHDM) and 2-Methyl-2,4-pentanediol (MPD). Also we had been introduced at liner type polyester resin using polycarbonate diol (PCDL). The contents of PCDL had been increased in polyester chains, the cured coating films of polyester/melamine had been increased formability and flexibility. |
