Characterization of Doxorubicin-conjugated Poly(DL-lactide-co-glycolide) Nanoparticles |
초록 |
Surfactant-free nanoparticles were prepared to conjugate doxorubicin(DOX) as an anticancer drug. DOX was conjugated to the carboxylic end of PLGA to minimize drug loss during preparation process. DOX-PLGA nanoparticles have spherical shapes with size less than 200 nm, which is acceptable for drug targeting. Furthermore, DOX release rate from nanoparticles at pH 6.8 was faster than pH 7.4. They have potential to inhibit proliferation of tumor cells even though the cytotoxicity of DOX-PLGA nanoparticles was lower than free DOX. We suggest that DOX-PLGA nanoparticles are superior candidate for novel drug delivery system. |
