Preparation and Characterization of Anticancer Drug Doxorubicin loaded Methotrexate-conjugated Poly(DL-lactide-co-glycolide) Nanoparticles |
| 초록 |
Doxorubicin (DOX), also known as adriamycin, is an anthracycline drug commonly used in cancer chemotherapy. Unfortunately, its therapeutic potential has been restricted by its dose limited cardiotoxicity and the resistance developed by the tumor cells to the molecule after some time of treatment. We have synthesized methotrexate (MTX)-conjugated poly(DL-lactide-co-glycolide) (PLGA) and prepared nanoparticles without use of surfactant. Doxorubicin loaded MTX-PLGA nanoparticles were prepared by one step without use of surfactant by nanoprecipitation and dialysis method. |
