제목 Synthesis and Characterization of Hybrid Composites of Octafunctional POSS/Polycaprolactone by UV Irradiation
초록 Considerable efforts have been recently directed toward the exploitation of new organic-inorganic hybrid composites for their scientific interest and their industrial applications. That is because of their utility and potential as catalyst, sensor optical, and electronic application. In this study, caprolactone was polymerized by the 2-hydroxyethyl methacrylate (HEMA) as an initiator through the ring-opening polymerization. Hybrid composite of octafunctional silsesquioxane(POSS) and polycaprolactone (PCL) through UV irradiation were fabricated and confrimed by FT-IR, TGA, DSC, EDS, and SEM.
