제목 | A Facile Method to Enhance Photovoltaic Performance of Isoindigo-based Copolymers by Inserting Bithiophene Spacer |
초록 | Recently, the isoindigo unit has been successfully introduced in the field of organic electronics for constructing both donor–acceptor (D–A) small molecules and polymers. An isoindigo-based polymer, P3TI, achieved efficiency up to 6.3%, which makes this dye a promising acceptor unit for D–A polymers. It has been recognized that the insertion of one thiophene as a spacer group between D–A units can enhance performance of the resulting polymers. However, there are only few reports on the insertion of bithiophene as a spacer group. Thus, we conducted a systematic study on solar cell performance of AF-isoindigo polymers as a function of the number of thiophene spacer units. The polymers were used to fabricate solar cell devices and it was found that the polymer that contained bithiophene spacers showed superior performance reaching PCE. |
