제목 Preparation of Positively-Charged Metal-Organic Frameworks for Conductivity Study
초록 Metal-Organic Frameworks (MOFs) generally have great tunability and structural diversity. Especially, various organic functional groups could be installed in MOF pores for target applications. For example, the amino group (NH2) has been widely studied in MOF chemistry due to good reactivity toward organic reaction and unique basicity of nitrogen atom.  
In this work, the installation of quaternary ammonium groups into Zr-based MOFs has been investigated. Due to the strong Lewis acidity of zirconium metal, the derivatization of amino groups in Zr-MOFs has been relatively restricted. Therefore, the post-synthetic modification (PSM) technique was introduced to install ammonium salts in MOFs. Both direct alkylation and Cu-catalyzed azide-alkyne cycloaddition (i.e., Cu-AAC click reaction) were applied to Zr-based UiO-66 (UiO = University of Oslo) MOFs. Using this ammonium-installed, positively charged MOFs, the ion conductivity studies were carried out.
