제목 Highly Emissive Self-assembled Organic Nanoparticles having Dual Color Capacity for Targeted Immunofluorescence Labeling
초록 Here, we report the possible use of highly emissive and highly photo-stable organic nanoparticles in the field of immunofluorescence labelling. New oligomeric benzoxazole has been synthesized and self-assembled with functionalized diacetylene molecules to obtain well organized 80nm diameter nanoparticles. The nanoparticles show enhanced fluorescence of 38% quantum yield. Intermolecular hydrogen bonding through J-aggregation is proposed to explain nanoparticle’s high quantum yield by forming intermolecular excited state proton transfer. Further avidin fluorescent labeling is shown with the nanoparticles assembled with biotin functionalized diacetylene molecules to demonstrate its application in the immunofluorescence labeling.
