Phase Behavior of Block Copolymer Blends Having Complementary Multiple Hydrogen Bonding |
초록 |
A binary mixture of two block copolymers having hydrogen bonding between the block components has attracted great attention because they show various microdomains that could not be expected for neat block copolymer. Polymers containing nucleobases have complementary multiple hydrogen bonding between nucleobases. The strong multiple hydrogen bonding is expected to has an effect on phase behavior of block copolymer blends. First, we synthesized 1-(4-vinylbenzyl)thymine and 9-(4-vinylbnezyl)adenine monomers. Then we will polymerize polystyrene-b-poly(1-(4-vinylbenzyl)thymine) and polystyrene-b-poly(9-(4-vinylbenzyl)adenine) to study the phase behavior of block copolymer blends. |
