A new synthetic route for polypropylene composites using novel 2D-nanosheets/Mgcl2-bisupported Ti-based Ziegler-Natta catalysts was designed. The bisupported catalysts with well dispersed 2D-nanosheets, such as long alkyl modified MoS2,graphene oxide(GO) and boron nitride(BN), was prepare through a coagglomeration method. The effects of modified 2D-nanosheets feed ratio on catalyst performance and propylene polymerization behavior were examined. the isotactic index values of the obtained PP nanocomposites were as high as 95% and 2D-nanosheets were well dispersed in the PP matrix. The obtained PP nanocomposites displayed enhanced thermal stabilities and mechanical properties compared those of neat PP. The maximum increases in thermal stability, tensile strength and modulus were 50℃, 20%, and 60%, respectively. Hence, this study provides a facile approach to the production of high-performance PP with enhanced thermal stability and mechanical properties. |
