제목 Development of High Detectivity Blue-Selective Polymer Photodiode with Dialkoxynaphthalene-based Conjugated Polymer by Fullerene Doping
초록 To realize narrowband blue-selective polymer photodiode, we synthesized a dihexyloxynaphthalenebased conjugated polymer (PNa6-Th) and the polymer was investigated in terms of optical, electrochemical, and thermal properties. PNa6-Th showed a narrowband blue-selective absorption with a full width at half-maximum of ~100 nm and a wide optical band gap of ~2.52 eV. planar heterojunction structure was constructed for photodiode fabrication and PNa6-Th and ZnO was used as polymer donor and nonabsorbing acceptor, respectively. To improve the external quantum efficiency of the fabricated photodiode, a small amount of [6,6]-phenyl-C61-butyric acid methyl ester (PCBM) was introduced on the donor layer. By applying PCBM to PNa6-Th layer, external quantum efficiency was boosted from 5.4% for pristine device to 37.8% for PCBM-added device, without sacrificing dark current. The increase of external quantum efficiency leads to high specific detectivity over 2.0 × 1012 Jones at −1 V.
