제목 Effect of Conjugation Length of Polyelectrolytes as a Hole Transporting Layer for Charge Selectivity
초록  The polymer, PEDOT:PSS, is known for the most widely used hole-transporting layer (HTL) material due to its high work function(5.1 eV), high conductivity and favorable processability in fabricating large-scale, flexible devices. However, PEDOT:PSS has unsatisfactory stability in ambient atmosphere. Recently, significant efforts to replace PEDOT:PSS have been dedicated to the interface engineering of devices. Especially, an appropriate interfacial conductivity is as essential as the suitable work function for an efficient buffer layer.
In this work, we present the synthesis and detailed characterization of new conjugated polyelectrolytes (CPEs) which could replace the acidic PEDOT:PSS. These polymers were prepared from the combination of the fluorene unit with hydrophilic side chains and thiophene moieties via Stille coupling. Therefore, conductivity and WF were changed to control the conjugation length of polymers.
