In this work, we have investigated ultramicroporous carbons (UMC) prepared by pyrolyzing poly(vinylidene fluoride) as a function of carbonization temperature, and evaluated the carbon dioxide adsorption capacity. The surface functional groups and specific elements of UMC were confirmed by FT-IR and XPS, respectively. Textural properties were analyzed using N2 adsorption isotherms at 77 K. The carbon dioxide adsorption of the UMC was investigated by BEL-HP at 298K/1 atm. From the results, it was found that the carbon dioxide adsorption capacity was enhanced with increasing of specific surface area, resulting from the formation of ultramicropore on the UMC. |
