The effect of minimizing the bending micro actuator for active electrochemical device |

In this study, we could make a tube-type micro actuator by stacking nafion with a heat-compression method. The purpose of our study is the fabrication of a micro active actuator having the improved bending force with the adequate bending stiffness by modulating its dimensions and electrode conditions. It is also important to optimize the manufacturing and minimizing process of the micro actuator for the flexible bending end tip. The properties of stacked nafion and micro actuators were investigated and characterized by EDS and FE-SEM. Force-displacement data of a cantilevered micro actuator was measured. |
