Bioadhesives have been emerging for tissue sealants, hemostatic agents, or wound dressing. However, the adhesive properties depend on the type of glue formulation. None of studies focus on the correlation of viscoelasticity of the glue materials with adhesiveness. In this study, we developed viscoelastic bioadhesive via facile and dynamic complexation of boronic acid and polyphenols. The viscoelasticity of the bioadhesive was desirable as a function of polyphenol amounts. The controllable adhesiveness would be further investigated for biomedical application. |
