To improve the ion conducting behaviors of polymer electrolytes, composite polymer electrolytes using a mixed salt system were considered. By preparation of composite electrolytes containing two types of salts, the electrochemical properties could be controlled. In this work, the influence of imidazolium salts as additives on the ionic conductivities and the interfacial characteristics was analyzed. They were determined by the electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS), DSC, and XRD methods. It could be found that the ionic conductivity of the composite electrolytes showed improved performance due to the better ion transfer by using a mixed salt system. |
