The Electro-Optical Properties of Holographic Polymer Dispersed Liquid Crystal(HPDLC) with Different Types of LC |
초록 |
Holographic polymer dispersed liquid crystal(HPDLC) has been fabricated with various types of LC which have different viscosity and dielectric constant to minimize driving voltage and response time. HPDLC film with ZLI-3417-100 gave lower driving voltage(<2.5V/μm) and faster response time(<10ms) than that of E7 at a specific composition of urethane acrylate oligomer/ethyl hexyl acrylate(EHA)= 3/1(40%LC), due to the high dielectric constant and low viscosity of ZLI-3147-100. However, diffraction efficiency showed that film with ZLI-3417-100 is a little lower, implying that mismatch of refractive index between polymer and LC has been decreased due to small optical anisotropy(Δn) of LC. |
