Losartan Potassium-Hydrochlorothiazide Bilayer Formulation for Controlled Release |
초록 |
Bilayer formulation is a convenient method for simple treatment with oral administration. This formulation was formed with the objective to control dissolution kinetics by making both immediate layer and sustained layer. Immediate layer with losartan potassium (LOS) was able to reduce the initial release and improve release rate by using excipient, lubricant and disintegrant. Also, sustained layer with hydrochlorothiazide (HCTZ) was able to make slow dissolution rate according to various polymer. This polymers are belong to kinds of hydrophilic polymers, which is used as mainly binder, coating agent and delayed release drug matrix. FT-IR, XRD and SEM were observed for analyzing method. Depending on several polymers as sustained layer, such drug release kinetics was represented in in vitro study respectively. As a results, the bilayer formulation used in this study can apply for complex agent. This research was supported by MIFAFF (112007-05-1-SB010) and MEST (2012M3A9C6050203). |
