제목 Electrochemical properties of mechanically alloyed Lithium iron phosphate for lithium secondary batteries
초록 LiFePO4 could replace other active materials for lithium-ion battery cathodes because it has not only high theoretical capacity of 170 mAh/g, high thermal stability, and excellent cycle life, but also it is inexpensive component (lower cost of the material to the battery producers) and environmentally friendly (no toxic element). However, LiFePO4 has a disadvantage of poor electronic conductivity. We have used a mechanical alloying method to prepare LiFePO4 of a fine particle size. Li2CO3, (NH4)H2PO4, and FeC2O42H2O are used as starting materials to prepare LiFePO4 by mechanical alloying and rotary evaporation.
