| 제목 | RNA detection using molecular beacon and its applications in Biotechnology |
| 초록 | RNAs including microRNA (miRNA) have been shown to play key roles in pathological development of disease. Therefore, imaging the level of specific RNA in the cells offers great opportunities in the biotechnology fields such as disease diagnosis. Here we present the use of nano-sized oligonucleotide fluorescent probes, molecular beacons for the detection of RNAs. Molecular beacons have the potential to provide a powerful tool for rapid detection of mRNAs and miRNAs. It is expected that continued advancements in RNA detection using molecular beacons will open new and exciting opportunities in a wide range of biological applications. |
