Sulfur particles adsorbed on graphene sheet composites prepared by solvothermal method and their electrochemical properties |

In this study, we present more electrochemically enhanced electrode using Graphene Nano Sheet (GNS)-sulfur(S) composites which have a high specific surface area and high current density. The electrochemical behaviors were investigated by cyclic voltammetry (CV). The prepared samples which are consisting of elemental sulfur particles on GNS uniformly provided the enhanced electrochemical reaction sites and ion-intercalation spot which were accessible to supporting electrolyte ion effectively. This paper reports a cathode material of a graphene-sulfur film synthesized by solvothermal method, in order to disperse sulfur particles on the graphene sheet uniformly. We could confirm that sulfur coated uniformly on the graphene sheets had the superior electrochemical activity than other samples. |
