제목 Polyaniline nanohybrids for Simultaneous Diagnostic Imaging and Localized Photothermal Therapy of Epithelial Cancer
초록 We have developed two kinds of polyaniline (PANI) based theranostic agents for magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) guided photothermal cancer ablation therapy . One is PANI and gadolinium composites and the other is PANI and magnetic nanoparticle hybrids. The prepared PANI nanoparticles both represented high conversion efficiency of light energy into thermal energy in an acidic intracellular cancer environments and it resulted in the efficient cancer treatment under laser irradiation. Furthermore, efficient cancer diagnosis is also successed by using these two PANI nanoparticles due to the clustering effects and enlarged hydration number of gadolnium and the intrinsic high sensitivity of magnetic nanocrystals. These PANI nanoparticlees may be highly effective theranostic tools that allow the pin-pointed cancer treatment with real-time tomographic images and high spatial resolution of MRI.
