제목 Numerical Simulation Modeling of Dual-layer Cathode Catalyst Layers in a PEMFC using a Microstructure Reconstruction Technique.
초록 The importance of dual-layer cathode catalyst layer on the PEMFC performance is presented via a pore-level description of the concentration and potential filed using a direct numerical simulation. The Dual-layer CL structure with varied electrolyte and void phase fractions are generated using microstructure reconstruction technique (software GeoDict). The gas diffusion layer(GDL) is reconstructed too. The effective transport properties are then derived from reconstructed structures. By incorporating the obtained effective transport properties, a three-dimensional, dual-layer cathode model is developed to predict the cathodic potential curve.
