제목 Electromagnetic interference shielding effectiveness of direct-grown carbon nanotubes(CNT)/glass fibers(GF) hybrid fillers
초록 Direct-grown CNT-glass fiber (GF) hybrid fillers were prepared by a CVD technique in order to improve EMI shielding effectiveness (SE) of the GF-reinforced composites. The morphologies and structural properties of the CNT-GF were measured by SEM and XRD. It was found that the crystallinity of Ni particles as a catalyst was improved after the CNT growth as confirmed by the XRD. It indicates that Ni particles were embedded into GF surfaces and finally form large clusters. This result can be explained that the CNT growth behavior on glass surface was a bottom-growth mechanism. The layered structures composed of glass-Ni-CNT could introduce good electric conductivity to the GF, resulting in the enhancement of EMI-SE of the CNT-GF/epoxy composites.
