제목 Synthesis of 1, 6-hexamethylene diisocyanate trimer using halide-free ionic liquid catalysts
초록 Polyurethane can produce various product depending on type of diisocyanate and polyol. Above all, polyurethane including 1, 6-hexamethylene diisocyanate (HDI) has resistant toward UV light. And, trimerization of diisocyanates can increase stability and vapor pressure. For these reasons, we synthesized HDI trimer with ionic liquid catalysts. However, ionic liquids containing halide ion may contaminate a reactor, so halide-free ionic liquids bearing various cations and anions were synthesized with direct alkylation. Among those catalysts, synthesized (1-trimethylamino-2-propanol)methylphosphite showed a higher conversion and selectivity compared with commercial TMR-2 catalyst in HDI trimerization.
