Graphene-based hybrid materials have attracted considerable attention because of their properties such as the excellent mechanical, optical, thermal, and electrical properties. Palladium nanoparticles with a cubic silesquioxane (Pd-POSS) are candidate for chemical, optical, magnetic, and electronic devices with useful properties. Organic-inorganic hybrid nanocomposites have high performances regarding the thermal stability, mechanical property, and flame resistance. We have prepared the composite of graphene oxide (GO) and POSS-NH3+ (GO/POSS) through the ionic interation between positively charged POSS-NH3+ and negatively charged GO. POSS-NH3+ was physically attached to the surfaces of GO to make GO/POSS. GO/Pd-POSS was produced from the reaction of GO/POSS and palladium(Ⅱ) acetate in methanol at room temperature. The surfaces of GO were well covered with the Pd-POSS. The characteristics of the hybrid nanocomposites (GO/Pd-POSS) were characterized by various analytical tools. |
