The utility of the anthracene as a special and efficient π-center has been demonstrated by several groups. Its promising light-emitting properties and charge carriers transport properties, anthracene has been proved as an important building block for variety of optoelectronic devices. The anthracene unit could be in principle linked in9,10- or 2,6-linkages to form two different conjugation pathways with two different quinoid characters. In this study, we synthesized CT-type low band gap polymer using Anthracene based on 2,6-linked to enhance polymer planarity and charge carrier mobility. The synthesized polymers are showed physical, optical, electrochemical and photovoltaic properties. |
