제목 Co-production of pyomelanin and polyhydroxybutyrate (PHB) by engineered Escherichia coli
초록 Nowadays, there are many global issues due to the impact of plastics on the environment. So poly hydroxyl butyrate (PHB) can be a good alternative because it is biodegradable and biocompatible. But  PHB have low decomposition temperature (220°C) compared to the melting temperature (175~180°C) and has a low impact strength. Melanin was reported to have several functionality such as effective UV-protective capacity and anti-oxidant capacities. In this study, to physical properties of PHB, melanin was mixed PHB. And to evaluate the thermal stability, DSC analysis of the film mixed with melanin was performed, and the antioxidant effect of the films, and electrical conductivity experiments were conducted.
