Thermal and mechanical properties of Poly(butylenes succinate) (PBS)/Poly(ethylene terephthalate glycol) (PETG) blends |
초록 |
Poly(butylene succinate) (PBS)/Poly(ethylene terephthalate glycol) (PETG) blends with various ratios were prepared by melt compounding. And then, the thermal and mechanical properties of them were investigated using differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), tensile testing, and wide angle X-ray diffraction (WAXD). The DSC results show that the glass transition temperatures of blends are single at lower PETG content that 10 wt% and the crystallization temperatures decreased with increase in PETG content. The tensile testing results show that the tensile strength and modulus of blends increased with increase in PETG content while the elongation at break decreased. And WAXD results exhibit that the crystallinity of blends decreased with increase in PETG content and the crystalline structure of PBS does not affected by the incorporation of PETG. |
