Selective oxidation of ethylbenzene to acetophenone with O2 over metal catalysts |
| 초록 |
A catalytic system consisting of metal salt for the selective oxidation of ethylbenzene was reported. Normally, ethylbenzene can easily oxidized to benzoic acid. This selective activity was examined for the oxidation of ethylbenzene using dioxygen as an oxidant. The catalytic activities of mixed metal salt were affected by additive with low by-product and high selectivity for acetophenone. The oxidized product was mainly acetophenone.
