제목 Effects of thermal fluorination on the CO2 and water vapor adsorption of carbon molecular sieves
초록 In this study, carbon molecular sieves (CMSs) were thermally fluorinated to investigate the CO2 and water vapor adsorption. The thermal fluorination of CMSs was carried out at different temperatures to investigate the effect of the F2 content. The fluorine functional groups were effectively introduced on the surface of the CMSs, and the volume and area of pores in the CMSs increased due to thermal fluorination. As the fluorine contents and pore volume were increase, an increase in the CO2 adsorption capacity of CMSs was observed due to Lewis acid-base interactions between the functional groups of CMSs and CO2.
