Metamodels-based modeling and optimization of LNG process |

In this work, a meta-model for LNG plant using SMR cycle was made in Aspen Hysys. Because of the high nonlinearity present in the LNG process takes several minutes to hour or days for the global optimization is difficult. A radial basis function method was proposed for model building. Then optimization was performed using Matlab routine. The results were compared with the published works and found to be in reasonable agreement.
