제목 | A study on the Synthesis and Catalytic Properties of TiO2 Photocatalysts. |
초록 | Recently, the nano crystalline TiO2 has been studied what was synthesized by sol-gel method. Photocatalysis is a subject of current interest in view of its application in effluent decontamination. In this study, The photoactive nano-sized TiO2 and Pt/TiO2 powders with anatase phases are synthesized by sol-gel method at 500℃. The 23nm TiO2 powders are prepared with the R=2,3 and HNO3 0.3㎖, dispersant HPC 0.5g/ℓ. The photocatalytic activity of nanocrystalline titania photocatalyst does not in crease monotonically with decreasing particle size because benefits from high surface area are offset by the increased recombination rate of electron-hole pairs at the surface of the nanoparticles. It is shown that 68% of phenol is decomposed when reaction time is about three hours and the efficiency illustrates the maximum value for S-R2P2/S-R2P3 catalyst cacined at 600℃. |
