제목 | Application of Nano-porous Templates with High Aspect Ratio using Block Copolymer Thin Films |
초록 | We used polystyrene-block-poly(methyl methacrylate) copolymers (PS-b-PMMA) with PMMA cylindrical nanodomains to make nano-porous structures oriented perpendicularly to the substrate. PS-b-PMMA was spin-coated onto a neutral brush modified by PS-ran-PMMA copolymer layer attached to the gold-coated Silicone wafer and ITO glass. We found that even if the thickness of the thin film increased up to ~300 nm, PMMA cylindrical microdomains were perpendicularly oriented to the substrates. Nanoporous templates were made after UV irradiation followed by rinsing by acetic acid. The hole diameter of pores can be controlled by adding PMMA homo polymer. Then, Cobalt nanowires in hexagonal array were produced by electrodeposition of cobalt electrolyte. The various diameters and area densities of cobalt nanowires were obtained by changing PS-PMMA molecular weight. The height and internal crystal morphology are controlled through the electrodeposition time and voltage. Finally, vertically aligned nanowires are a candidate system for perpendicular magnetic data storage media. Also, polypyrrole was electro-deposited in the nanoporous templates on the ITO glass. Hexagonal cylinders of polypyrrole is produced by electropolymerization. Nano cylinder structures possess increased p-n interfacial area and charge transporting path way. So, the conversion efficiency of photovoltaic device can be improved. |
