Carbon nanofibers (CNFs) are among the greatly potential reinforcing additives for polymeric composites due to their high axial Young’s modulus, high aspect ratio, large surface area, and excellent thermal and electrical properties. Mixing has proved to be an important parameter for the development of high performance CNFs/polymer composites, as the homogeneous dispersion of CNFs in the polymeric matrix is desired. In this work, we are to undertake with the aim of developing CNF epoxy mixtures and investigating their mechanical, viscoelastic, and electrical properties. Moreover, these mixtures were used as matrices for manufacturing doped carbon fibers-reinforced polymer (CFRP) composites. And thier properties were compared to Ni-doped CFRP composites. |
