Electromechanical properties of the silicone dielectric elastomer and the ferroelectric material of P(VDF-TrFE-CFE) |

Electroactive polymers (EAPs) are characterized by their ability to respond external electric stimulation by displaying a large dimension change. Silicon elastomer precursors composed of various vinyl contents, silicon resin contents, and molecular weights were prepared and reacted to optimize the matrix’s properties. The silicon chemistry is based on the reaction between Si-H and vinyl groups. Ferroelectric material of P(VDF-TrFE) copolymer have been used as electromechanical devices because of its piezo and ferro electricities. To increasing the properties, CFE(chlorofluoroethylene) groups adding the P(VDF-TrFE) copolymer induced a substantial improvement in its electromechanical response and dielectric constant along with a small hysteresis and remnant polarization under an applied electric field. And the effect of P3HT-PMMA on the dielectric and electromechanical properties of the P(VDF-TrFE-CFE)/P3HT-PMMA blend system were systematically evaluated. |
