In a different way from the conventional method, membranes were fabricated by simultaneously using electrospinning and spraying. The membrane properties and performance of the PSf electrospun / sPAES sprayed reinforced nanocomposite membrane, PSf(ES)+sPAES(SP) was compared with i) pristine sPAES membrane, ii) PSf sprayed / sPAES electrospun reinforced nanocomposite membrane, PSf(SP)+sPAES(ES), and iii) PSf, sPAES blend membrane. The PSf(ES)+sPAES(SP) membrane was applied to the substrate, but the performance was not significantly different from the pristine sPAES membrane, and the durability was 2 times higher by the US department of energy (DOE) protocol. |
