제목 Poly(methylacryalte)-b-Polystyrene by Combining ATRP and Click Coupling Method
초록 The combination of atom transfer radical polymerization (ATRP) and click chemistry was employed to prepare well-defined block copolymers in an efficient manner. Bromo terminated poly(methylacrylate)(pMA) was prepared by ATRP initiator with ethyl-2-bromoisobutyrate(EBiB).α-alkyn-ω-bromo functionalized polystyrene was also synthesized by ATRP using alkyn functionalized initiator propargyl-2- bromoisobutyrate (PgBiB). Subsequently bromine chain end of poly (methylacrylate) was converted to azide group by simple nucleophillic substitution reaction. Then coupling reaction between azide end group in pMA with alkyn group in pSt was performed by Cu1-catalyzed (3+2) cycloaddition. Kinetics of this coupling reaction was monitored by gel permeation chromatography (GPC). The synthesized block copolymer was characterized by FT-IR,1H-NMR spectroscopy and 1H-1HNMR correlation spectroscopy (COSY).
