제목 Conjugated small molecules as hole transport layers leading to high performance and low-cost for perovskite solar cells
초록 Hole transport layers (HTLs) in perovskite solar cells (PSCs) are essential to enhance power conversion efficiencies (PCEs). Although Spiro-OMeTAD prevalently used in PSCs as HTL enables to record splendid performances for a variety of perovskite compositions, its high cost and inferior stability against air and moisture are main obstacles to commercialization. Here, we attempted to synthesize novel small molecules to replace preexisting HTLs. The newly synthesized HTLs mainly consist of conjugated structures that potentially reduce synthetic steps, minimizing overall costs. PSCs with novel HTLs recorded 18% of PCE with molar amounts that are one-third of Spiro-OMeTAD in precursor solutions. The superiority of novel HTLs to Spiro-OMeTAD due to high cost performances results from simple synthetic steps and small amounts required for preparation of HTL precursor.
