제목 Controlled Droplet Dewetting on Micro-Wetting Patterns for Polymer Particle Synthesis
초록 Polymer microparticles have been widely used in research and industrial fields such as medical devices. Polymer microparticles can be manufactured by various preparation techniques  most of them require complicated processes. In this study, we present the polymer microparticles fabrication method in large-scale with micro-wetting pattern. The micro-wetting pattern was prepared by plasma treatment for reducing hydrophobicity of polydimethylsiloxane(PDMS) grafted substrate. In the polymer microparticle fabrication process, the micro-wetting pattern surfaces are dipped into polymer solution and forms microarray of polymer on the hydrophilic part of the substrate. Herein, polymer microparticles have been fabricated by micro-wetting pattern method and collected for demonstration. Furthermore, various kind of polymer microparticles including additives can be fabricated by this method and it will offer inspiring potential for designing polymer particle.
