Polyaniline has been extensively studied and applied in sensor applications because it has electrical conductivity in an oxidation state. The electrical conductivity of polyaniline depends on the chemical structure of polyaniline, dopant ions, binder and so on. In addition, the electrical conductivity of polyaniline can be changed by the dispersion in a solvent, coating and dry processes. In this study, we prepared polyaniline films by the composition of polyaniline/polymeric binder and different coating methods. The morphology and properties of the films were characterized using a scanning electron microscopy(SEM), fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FT-IR), x-ray diffraction(XRD), and resistance tester. Especially, the effect of morphology of the films on the electrical conductivity was intensively investigated. |
