제목 Synthesis of melamine phosphate-polyurethane composite foam blown by water and characterization of its thermal properties
초록 Polyurethane foam is light and has excellent heat insulating property. In addition, the manufacturing process of polyurethane form is simpler and economical. However, polyurethane foam is combustible component, so lots of study has been performed to enhance the poor thermal stability and flame resistance. We prepared melamine phosphate-polyurethane composite foam (MP-PUF) to strengthen the flame retardance. H2O was used as a blowing agent. The morphology and physical properties, including thermal conductivity and thermal decomposition property, of the MP-PUF were investigated. The cell size of pure PUF and MP-PUF increased with the amount of H2O. When the same amount of the blowing agent was used, the cell size of MP-PUF is smaller than that of pure PUF. The thermal conductivity of MP-PUF increased with H2O content, whereas the thermal conductivity of pure polyurethane foam decreased. The thermal stability of MP-PUF and PUF blown with H2O increased with the amount of H2O.
