제목 | A Facile Method for Synthesis of Magnetic Heterostructuted Fe/FeCaP Microspheres of Theranostic agents |
초록 | Calcium phosphate (CaP) are have attracted a great deal of attention in biomedical fields due to their properties such as biocompatibility and bioactivity. Despite their excellent biological properties, there are lack of sensitivity to detect the presence of synthetic bone substitutes using the commonly used techniques such as X-ray or computed tomography (CT) assessments, and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) without additional constant enhancement. Thus, many materials scientist have made effort to develop the single products with functions both imaging and osteogenic properties for theranostics. In this study, the iron-substituted calcium phosphate (FeCaP) microspheres with uniform size were synthesized using a hydrothermal method. And then, to enhance and control the magnetic property, the synthetic FeCaP particles were reduction-annealed at different temperature. By reduction-annealing the FeCaP microspheres at 600 oC, Fe particles were extracted from synthetic FeCaP and the magnetism of particles was enhanced. Thus, we successfully synthesized magnetic Fe/FeCaP heterostructure microspheres. Our study indicates that the fabricated multifunctional Fe/FeCaP microspheres are quite useful for the theranostic agent combined with magnetic resonance constant agent and osteogenic bone substitutions. In additional, this technique for formation of heterogeneous particles can be potentially applied to large number of nanoparticles/host crystal systems, because of experimental simplicity. |
