제목 Development of the nitrogen and sulfur co-doped carbon materials as electrocatalyst for the oxygen reduction reaction
초록 A proton exchange membrane fuel cell (PEMFC) shows alternative power sources due to its low pollutant emission and high efficiency. Because of expensive and scarce platinum as electrocatalyst for the oxygen reduction reaction (ORR), the non-precious metal catalysts (NPMCs) have been extensively researched for decades and developed various types of electrocatalysts. The NPMCs significantly depends on not only dopant but also their structures. In this paper, the nitrogen and sulfur co-doped graphene (NSG) and CNT (NST) were prepared to investigate the effect of carbon structure on the electrochemical performance. The electrocatalysts were prepared by pyrolyzing the nitrogen and sulfur precursors with different carbon supports. The ORR activities of the electrocatalysts were characterized through the three-electrode system.
