High tenacity polyethylene woven fabric was dyed with three dispersion dyes and their dyeing and fastness properties were investigated. Color yields of the dispersions dyes on the high tenacity fabric were dependent on dyeing temperature, amount reducing agentm and amount of salt. Dyeing behaviro of the dispersion dye in the polyethylene fiber was silmilat to that on polyester fibers. Wash and perspiration fatsness was generally good, while rubbing fatness was moderate and light fatness was unsatisfactory.
