제목 | Real-time pH monitoring of human fluids using Flexible pH sensor cable |
초록 | Development of sensing technology in human body fluids is realizing wearable chemical sensors for non-invasive, real-time monitoring healthcare and disease diagnostics. The advanced sensor devices should be compact and portable for use in limited space, be easy to wear on human body, and be low-cost for personalized healthcare markets. Here, we report a highly sensitive, flexible, and self-healable pH sensor cable by weaving two carbon fiber thread electrodes coated with mechanically robust self-healing polymers. The pH sensor cable shows excellent electrochemical performances of sensitivity, repeatability, and durability. The pH sensor cable could measure small volume (30 μl) of real human fluid samples, including urine, saliva, and sweat, and the results are similar to those of a commercial pH meter.
