제목 Effect of acid catalyst on carbon dioxide adsorption of carbonized resorcinol-formaldehyde polymer
초록 General RF polymer is synthesized by base catalyst, which has mesopore and few micropore. However, RF polymer using acid catalyst produces micropore, mainly. In this study, RF polymer was prepared from resorcinol and formaldehyde monomers in various HCl aqueous solutions and then polymerized at 323 K. The obtained gel was carbonized at 1323 K in N2 atmosphere after drying and washing. The morphology and particle size of carbonized RF polymer were observed by Scanning electron microscope (SEM). The textural and CO2 adsorption characteristics of carbonized RF polymer were analyzed by BET apparatus. Each adsorption isotherm of N2 and CO2 was measured at 77 K and 273 K.
