제목 Enhancement of P3HT/PCBM Photovoltaic Efficiency using Rod-Coil Diblock Copolymer as An Organic Cathode Interfacial Layer
초록 By adding a rod-coil diblock copolymer, poly(3-hexylthiophene)-b-poly[(3-trimethoxysilyl)propyl methacrylate], into P3HT and PCBM mixture, we fabricated bulk hetero junction (BHJ) photovoltaic cell. In the presence of the 10-25% P3HT-b-PTMSM, the power conversion efficiency of the photovoltaic cell increased nearly 25-80% from that of the device fabricated without the copolymer. XPS depth profile of active layer indicated that the P3HT-b-PTMSM was located near the top surface and the alkoxy silane groups of PTMSM block was cured to SiOx by thermal annealing process. The P3HT and PCBM mixture with the copolymer exhibited higher P3HT crystallinity than that without the copolymer as evidenced by UV/Vis spectra. DSC data indicated that the PTMSM block is miscible with PCBM.
