제목 Electrodeposition of spinel oxides nanosheets for energy storage applications
초록 Transition metal oxides (TMOs) are the most promising candidates for energy storage applications such as Li-ion batteries (LIBs) and Supercapacitors (SCs). Herein, we report direct growth of MCo2O4 (M=Ni, Mn) nanosheets arrays on nickel foam (NF) substrate by a facile electrodeposition approch. All depositions were carried out using potentiostatic mode at -0.75 V (vs SCE) for 5 minute. As prepared binder-free electrode shows a high specific capacity and specific capacitance with excellent cyclic stability when used for LIB and SC application, respectively. The superior electrochemical performances are mainly attributed to its nanosheets like structure which provides a large surface area, and fast ion and electron tranfer rate.
