Semitransparent and flexible inverted organic solar cells require transparent electrodes on both the bottom and top side. We demonstrate inverted organic solar cells integrating a transparent anode and cathode based WO3/Ag/WO3(WAW) multilayer. In device, the inner WO3 thin layer between the active layer and the Ag layer was to improve carrier collection, while the outer WO3 thin layer to enhance optical transmittance. In the optimum thicknesses of both Ag and WO3 layer, the best results were obtained the WAW multilayer was a high transmittance of ~92.5% and a low sheet resistance about ~7.5 ohm/sq. We fabricate semitransparent and flexible inverted OSCs consisting of WAW/PEIE/P3HT:PCBM/WAW structure. The power conversion efficiency of WAW electrode device is an enhancement and lower series resistance than that of the PEDOT:PSS electrode device. Moreover, the device lifetime is also strongly increased because WO3 layers can saturate and stabilize the inner and out metal surface. |
