Dispersion Stability of Graphene in Aqueous Solution and Synthesis of Graphene-loaded Biodegradable Nanocomposite Films |

Sodium carboxymethyl cellulose/graphene (NaCMC/graphene) nanocomposite films were prepared by a simple solution mixing-evaporation method. The graphene was dispersed in aqueous solution and used as a nanofiller in CMC matrix. The characterization of NaCMC/graphene nanocomposite films was analyzed compared with the NaCMC/graphene oxide (NaCMC/GO) nanocomposite films. X-ray diffraction (XRD) and scanning electron microscope (SEM) were used to investigate the structural properties and morphologies, respectively. The mechanical properties were analyzed by universal testing machine (UTM). It was found that the tensile strength and Young’s modulus of NaCMC/graphene were improved with increasing of graphene amounts. |
